The project covers the supply of Stat-X<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>&nbsp;aerosol fire to protect various technical areas of the tunnel boring machine, which has a diameter of 12.56 meters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of a section of a highway, that among other things will connect the airport with the seaport of Gdansk, currently a motorway tunnel, which will pass under the Vistula, is being constructed.<br><br>Various technical areas of the tunnel boring machine, which is used for the realization of this tunnel, are protected with Stat-X<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>&nbsp;aerosol fire suppression systems. All areas will be monitored by a control panel in the control cabin of the tunnel boring machine. In an emergency the relevant Stat-X<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>&nbsp;extinguishing system is released in the respective area.<br>&nbsp;<br>The safety of the extinguishing agent as well as the robust and compact design of the Stat-X<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>&nbsp;aerosol generators, in addition to economic aspects were in combination with the vast experience of in protecting tunnel boring machines, decisive for the contract award.<br><br>Picture source: \u00a9 Aero-X AG<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Aero-X AG protects a tunnel boring machine, which is used for the construction of a 1.4 km long highway tunnel in Gdansk.
